16. John Bellenfant II , son of John Bellenfant and Louisa Yeoman was born on 1 Jan 1795 in Rockingham Co. North Carolina, died on 2 Apr 1867 in Bodeham, Tennessee, and was buried in Scales Family Cem,Eagleville, Williamson Co., TN.
Thought to have possibly been introduced to his wife by Andrew Jackson, as Bellenfant was known to have frequented Jackson's home, "The Hermitage", which was a center for Society in Tennesee at that time. Perhaps Jane Scales' brother, Nicholas, knew Jackson, as both practiced law at the courthouse in Franklin, TN. Bellenfant was big, coarse, had plenty of money, and was not well educated.

Jane "Jensie" Mary Scales daughter of Absalom Scales and Nancy Ann Kenner Dalton, she was born on 11 Dec 1800 in Williamson Co., Tennessee, died on 21 Nov 1874 in Williamson Co., Tennessee at age 73, and was buried in Scales Family Cem, Eagleville, Williamson Co., TN. 20. James Henry Cole, son of Thomas Cole and Nancy White, was born on 11 Sep 1834. James Henry Cole was conscripted by the Union Army in the Civil War, to care for the wounded soliders in a hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on the site of the old Carnation Milk Company. James Cole died on December 11, 1896 at age 62 and is buried in the Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery.
21. Mary Francis Taylor, daughter of Vincent Taylor and Mary R. Puckett, was born on 22 Nov 1838, died on 20 May 1890 at age 51, and was buried in MT Pleasant Church, Tenn.

He fought in the Civil War as a Private in the 24th Regiment of Tennessee Infantry, Company A, which fought at the Battle of Murfeesboro on December 31, 1862, and the Battle of Chickamauga on September 19, 1863.
